Run a CalCom demo

Sign in to AWS

Choose IAM user, enter the account you were given, then your own user name and password. After the first time, the browser remembers the account.

Start the demo

Opens the CalComDemo-Start runbook with the environment set to main. Scroll down and click Execute. The domain controller starts first, then the other servers. Give it about 10 minutes before connecting.

Present

Opens remote desktop in your browser. Click Add new connections if needed and pick the CalCom management server of main.

• Choose User credentials and log in with the demo Windows account.
• Open Chrome on the server and open the CalCom management console.

Stop when you're done

Run CalComDemo-Stop with main and click Execute. If you forget, the demo stops by itself 4 hours after it was started.

Create or delete a demo copy

Every presenter can make a private copy of the demo, for example for a customer POC. It is built from the same data as main.

• Create: enter a short name such as acme-poc and a title, then click Execute. It takes 20 to 30 minutes. Then use Start demo above with that name in the Environment field.
• Present a copy: open remote desktop as in step 3 and pick the management server of your copy.
• Delete: type the name twice. This removes the copy and all its servers for good.
